Ten For Tuesday Episode 090: Old School Metal Roadtrip

It's another road trip episode. Since we are in Denver to see Megadeth and Suicidal Tendencies and will see Iron Maiden back in Tulsa on Friday I decided to do an early to mid 80s heavy metal/hard rock episode. The 2nd set of songs all feature Jimmy Bain and the last........well the band names all begin with A. So it adds up to a rather cool group of songs and that's alright with me.

Megadeth - Killing Is My Business And Business Is Good
Suicidal Tendencies - I Saw Your Mommy
Iron Maiden - 2 Minutes To Midnight
Dio - We Rock
Gary Moore - Hiroshima
Hear N' Aid - Stars
Wild Horses - Face Down
Alcatraz - Island In The Sun
Armored Saint - Can U Deliver
Accept - Fast As A Shark

Ten For Tuesday is a podcast dedicated to playing the music I couldn't find anywhere else. The music I like varies from style to style, genre to genre and era to era. You will hear punk, ska, rock, Americana, metal, country, rockabilly and more from all over the world. It doesn't matter if it's a major label or indie as long as I like it then it gets played. The motto is Less Talk More Music which means you won't hear me waxing poetic for fifteen minutes between songs. At TFT its all about the music...and me of course.

notmovingpictures Episode 037: The Day Before The Road Trip

This is a quick short episode where I touch on the impending road trip to Denver to See Megadeth and Suicidal Tendencies. It's a sorely needed stress break. Why? Because it seems major changes are coming with my job, how much and in what timeframe it's too early to tell. Once we get back from the road trip we're going to see Iron Maiden here in Tulsa so it will be a busy week. I also talk a little bit about the Peruvian Presidential elections but I hope to do a later more in depth episode in order to give the topic the time it deserves. We'll see. Also, I have a new song by The Slackers and it seems to fit, so take that.

Opening Music: Alloy - Live To See The Day
Closing Music: The Slackers - Truth Comes Knocking

Ten For Tuesday Episode 089: Ska Ska Ska

I've been promising, okay....threatening, to do an all ska episode for some time and now that day is upon us. The music comes from the days that I used to do my ska radio show so it was all put out in the mid to late 90s. There are a few threads that hold all or some of the songs together but to find out what they are you'll have to have a listen.

Deals Gone Bad - The Elephants
The Skoidats - Skinhead Hop
Inspecter 7 - Asbury Park
The Stubborn Allstars - Open Season
Hepcat - Open Season...Is Closed
Skinnerbox - Hepcat Season
Dr. Ring Ding & The Senior All-Stars - No Reason For Season
The Allentons - My Babe
SeeSpot - Orient Express
Mobtown - Comin' To Get Cha'
